Eligibility Requirements
To You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for a La Trobe University Australia Scholarships 2024:
- The language of instruction is English.
- International students must apply.
- This scholarship is open to citizens of countries other than New Zealand and Australia.
- English language proficiency and academic entry requirements must be met by applicants.
- A full-fee-paying student must apply.
- All La Trobe campuses accept applications for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- To qualify, applicants must have at least 55 percent weighted average marks (WAM).
- There is no program at La Trobe that you are currently enrolled in.
Scholarship Benefits
As a recipient of a La Trobe University Scholarship, you will receive the following benefits:
- The scholarship will cover up to 25% of the students’ tuition fees for the duration of the program.
- This percentage is calculated based on the total number of courses eligible and the WAM.

70-74.9 | La Trobe University International Merit Scholarship | 20% scholarship on annual Fees |

In other words, a WAM is an average mark that considers how many credits each of your completed subjects is worth. It is calculated using your current course grade in all subjects that you have completed successfully.
