Eligibility:
The following are the requirements to apply for the University of Hamburg Scholarship 2025 Germany
- The University of Hamburg offers degrees in a variety of fields
- Master’s and doctoral students can apply after completing the first semester of their studies
- Being a non-German citizen;
- Federal student loans are not available.
Scholarship benefits:
- €850 per month in funding.
- If funding is available,
- A total of €1,000 per month will be awarded to each doctoral researcher (approximately two to three merit scholarships will be awarded per round).
- There are only two semesters of merit scholarships available (a total of 12 months).
- Scholarship applications can be resubmitted.
- A maximum funding period of three years may be granted in exceptional cases.
Deadline:
A funding period of 1 October – 30 September will be available beginning on 15 April of the same year.
The funding period for the following year begins on 1 April and ends on 31 March.
