Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2026-27

The Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2026-27 offers fully-funded fellowships to international participants who work for peace and promote it. The Rotary Scholarship is awarded annually to up to 130 individuals who exhibit exceptional leadership abilities. 

By receiving these Rotary awards, a student shows dedication to being a catalyst for peace and bringing about valuable change in the world. Scholarship recipients gain the skills they need to become effective ambassadors of peace and highly effective professionals with this fully-funded scholarship.

Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2026-27 is being offered to bring together future global leaders and to provide them with opportunities to network globally. Over 1500 fellows from all over the world have been trained by Rotary Peace Centers to accomplish the organization’s mission. 

Since its inception in 1917, the Rotary Foundation has been bringing peaceful change across the globe through the capacity-building of leaders in peace and development.

During the Rotary Peace Fellowship program, personal change is emphasized from the grassroots up, as peace is seen as a foundation stone for human development within the Rotary Foundation, not just as a concept. 

With the assistance of the fully funded international fellowship opportunity, the participants are exposed to the channels of activity that can make a significant contribution to society.

Rotary Peace Scholarships Duration:

• Master’s Degree Scholarship 2024: 15 to 24 months
• Professional Development Certificate Program: One-Year

Up to 130 International fellowships:

• 50 Fellows will be selected for Master’s Degrees
• 80 fellows will be selected for Certificate studies

Eligibility Criteria

• English proficiency is required.
• Candidates must have experience in building projects of exceptional quality.
• Candidate’s academic achievements and their community service record must be demonstrated.
• Bachelor’s degrees must be completed by students pursuing a master’s degree.
• Masters students are required to have at least three years of relevant experience before beginning the fellowship program.
• Undergraduate and graduate students are not eligible.
• To qualify for the certificate program, candidates must meet all the above requirements, but they must also have five years of experience.
• A plan of action must be provided by the certificate candidates.
• We encourage applicants with disabilities to apply.
• Applicants to this fellowship must have a three-year gap between certificate programs and global grant scholarships.
• Applicants must not be active Rotary members, or employees of Rotary Clubs, Rotary International, or other Rotary entities.

How to Apply for Rotary Fellowship 2026:

• Candidates must submit their applications online to the Rotary Foundation.
• Make sure all relevant documents are provided.
• The fellowship subcommittee must receive your endorsement by July 1st.
• We will send you a confirmation after we receive your endorsement and application.
